Ira Jones Middle School, 6A -Team Awesome, presented The C. W. Avery Family YMCA with a check for $734.25 on Wednesday.
The team raised the funds during their Fun Run on May 14, which was part of their school service project, and donated it to the Y's Annual Giving Campaign.
The YMCA will use the funds to support their scholarship program in which "no one is turned away for their inability to pay.
