“For more than 160 years, the Y has been strengthening communities and we are honored to receive this award for the work our centers are doing across the state.”

The Presence Health Cares award is presented each year to a community leader or organization that exemplifies the values that inspire Presence Health’s outreach to the community. Each of the areas served by Presence Health’s 12 hospitals are also served by a local Y center. In each case, that Y is a critical partner with Presence Health’s clinicians, staff and hospital leadership in promoting strong, healthy communities.

More than 300 people attended the breakfast award ceremony at the Union League Club in downtown Chicago. Emmy-award winning NBC 5 Chicago reporter Lauren Jiggets served as the emcee for the event.
