A reader reached out to Patch in the hopes of tracking down the owners of a kitten found Monday in the Wesmere subdivision.
She wrote:
FOUND IN WESMERE SUBDIVISION, WESMERE ESTATES/Huntington and Kingsbury Estates Drives (very close to Wesmere Elementary School)
Very sweet, very friendly, less than six-month old orange and white tabby kitten.
Fluffy orange fur, white spot on chest, white front paws and white boots on hind legs. This kitten followed our daughter right into our house, and has no fear of people, dogs or cats.
While a little scrawny and rib cage can be felt through the fur, kitten is clean and does not seem to be a long-term stray. No collar, tags or chip.
