Midwest Twisters: Learn About Tornadoes at Plainfield Library Event
Hear a storm chaser's personal tales on March 16.
Plainfield and many of its residents are all too familiar with severe weather events.
But you don't have to have lived through the 1990 tornado to be part of the Plainfield Public Library's "Midwest Twisters" event, set for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16.
Participants will hear stories of weather phenomena and personal storm adventure tales from storm chaser Eddy Weiss. Weiss will also provide tips on what to do if you are in the path of a storm.
