Music, Butterflies, Balloons: Plainfield Teen’s Memory Lives On

In honor of his 21st birthday, Tyler Montgomery’s parents, Lydia Montgomery and Mike Montgomery of Plainfield, release 21 butterflies outside of Guardian Angel Community Services in Joliet. Along with daughter Tiffany Montgomery and their guests, they followed that up by releasing colorful balloons in their son’s memory, and a rendition of “Happy Birthday.”

The July 25 event coincided with the opening of a recording studio named in Tyler’s honor.
