The National Weather Service Chicago says wind chill values could go as low as -26 on Thursday night (Jan. 23). And the forecast for the weekend and the start of the new week doesn’t offer much hope for a respite, either.

Patchy blowing snow is expected to arrive on Friday and Friday (Jan. 24) night with new accumulation totals of 1-3 inches possible in Bolingbrook. There is a 50-60 percent chance of more snow on Saturday and Sunday.
