Patch Picks: Easter Brunch Spots

Family gatherings can sometimes be more enjoyable when no one has to clean the house or cook; here are some holiday dining options.

Today’s list is a list of great local places to enjoy Easter brunch.

  1. Broken Arrow Golf Club: Meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy Easter brunch with a champagne toast at Broken Arrow Golf Club in Lockport on Sunday, April, 24. Brunch is available in two seating times, from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m.  Both seatings will include the same menu of breakfast items like fresh fruit, pancakes, fresh toast and omelette station, as well as lunch items of seared chicken, stuffed pork, salmon, vegetables, salads, a pasta station and carving station of roast beef and ham. The cost is $24.95 for adults and $13.95 for children ages four to 12. Please call 815-836-8858, ext. 15 for reservations.
  2. : The Bolingbrook Golf Club will host an elaborate Easter champagne brunch in its Reagan Grand Ballroom start at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 24. The last seating is at 3 p.m.  The cost of brunch for members is $30.95 per adult, $14.95 for children ages three to 12, and free for children three and younger. For non-members, brunch prices are $34.95 per adult, $16.95 for children ages three to 12, and free for children three and younger. The Easter Bunny will also make appearances.   3. Renaissance Center: Enjoy a full menu of breakfast and lunch items, featuring chef-carved entrees, tempting salads, fresh seafood and desserts with chilled champagne, at the Renaissance Center, 214 N.Ottawa St., Joliet. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand. Brunch is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24. For reservations, call 815-280-1404.
  4. Downtown Naperville: Several restaurants in downtown Naperville are offering Easter brunch specials, including , , ,  and . Menu details, as well as complete menu offerings and prices, are available on the downtown Naperville website at www.downtownnaperville.com.
  5. : Enjoy the Morton Arboretum’s spring blooms as well as a visit from the Easter Bunny during the arboretum’s Easter brunch on Sunday, April 24. Seatings are available at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for the Ginkgo Restaurant. Tickets are $38 for adult members or $45 for adult non-members; $26 for child members (ages 2-12) or $31 for children who are not members; and children two and younger are free. Tickets can be purchased through the visitor center by calling 630-725-2066, or online at www.mortonarb.org. The brunch features a carving station buffet, a kids buffet, a breakfast station, a made-to-order omelet station, a made-to-order pasta station, a cold station, an Easter egg cookie decorating station and a dessert station.
