- : Located on near 127th Street, near Route 59, this Plainfield spa offers back and neck massage, hot stone massage, prenatal massage and reflexology. At the salon, you can get manicures, pedicures and waxing as well as hair cuts and styling, hair treatments, perms, hair coloring, updos and make up application.
- : This Romeoville salon and spa specializes in hair treatments but also offers waxing, nail and facial treatments. Known for its affordability while still delivering on quality and service, an average hair cut costs $25 and walk-ins are accepted.
- VIP Salon & Spa: This full-service salon and spa in Joliet offers everything from waxing to makeup application to hair and nails, massages, facial and skin treatments. Spa packages are available, including couple’s massages. A massage with Courtney comes highly recommended.
- Jeffrey LaMorte Salon and Day Spa: This salon and spa has locations in Lemont, and . The Lemont location offers a complete menu of hair services, skin therapy, massage therapy, nail services, spa packages, body treatments, makeup and waxing. The salon and spa even offers a rewards program, allowing customers to accrue points based on amounts spent on products and services. The points can then be redeemed for future purchases of products or services.
: This Naperville spa boasts a Himalayan salt cave, only the second in the United States, consisting of thousands of pounds of salt. The cave is said to contain 84 minerals to help relieve respiratory, circulatory, skin ailments and stress. One session includes a 45-minute visit in the cave, where customers relax in a zero-gravity chair while listening to the sounds of the sea. The air is saturated with negative ions which are said to foster good sleep, alleviate symptoms of allergies and asthma, relieve hypertension and stress, and spark imagination. The spa also offers a Thermojet infrared body wrap that’s said to burn up to 1,200 calories, allowing customers to lose up to an inch off their bodies. Other offerings include facials, anti-aging methods, waxing, massages, toning treatments, body wraps and alternative therapies like Reiki and foot detox.
Special mention: in Shorewood is now offering “sugaring” in addition to its regular spa menu. Sugaring is an alternative to waxing said to be as effective, without the resulting pain and redness. Divas also has a complete menu of hair and body services as well as spa packages.
