Pick Your State for 2013 Plainfield Homecoming Parade
The theme of the Oct. 5 event is "States on Parade." The deadline to enter is Sept. 23.
The Plainfield Homecoming Committee has chosen the theme of this year's community homecoming event: "States on Parade."
This time around, parade entries will celebrate a particular state or United States territory. Those who plan to enter the parade must pick three states or territories in order of preference, and email the list to Pauline Herbst at pherbst@psd202.org.
Entrants will be notified of their final state/territory assignments via email within 72 hours. Final assignments will depend on availability, and requests will be honored on a first come, first served basis.
The deadline to enter is Sept. 23.
