Plainfield Business Offers Free Pumpkins During 'Spooktacular'

Spooktacular Downtown Plainfield is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; a dowtown realtor will pass out pumpkins while supplies last.

Century 21 Affiliated Pro-Team will host its annual Pumpkinfest in conjunction with the downtown Spooktacular from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (while supplies last!) Saturday, Oct. 26, at their location at 15105 S. James St. in Plainfield.

This year, the agents of Century 21 Affiliated Pro-Team will be handing out roughly 500 pumpkins, pumpkin decorating kits, popcorn, hot dogs and candy.

“Century 21 has been in Plainfield at this location for almost 40 years," said Matthew Rittof, Team Leader/Managing Broker for the Plainfield office. “From Century 21 G.N. Clark, to Century 21 Hayes, to Century 21 Pro-Team, the tradition of Century 21 in Plainfield continues with Century 21 Affiliated Pro-Team."

Rittof attributes the longevity of Century 21 in Plainfield to customer service from the agents and participation in community events such as the Spooktacular.

“Whether it’s handing out popcorn at the homecoming parade, or handing out pumpkins, it’s a way of saying 'thank you' to the people moving into and living in Plainfield that have supported us for all of these years," he said. "Plus it's fun seeing the kids dressed up and picking out pumpkins ... and if you don’t live in Plainfield, one of our agents can help you out with that while you are picking up a pumpkin."
