The Plainfield Public Library is a participant in Book Crossing, a program where books are left for people to take. Each book has a label affixed inside instructing the taker to enter the BCID number online at the Book Crossing Web site so the book's travels can be tracked.
Inside the Starbucks at Route 59 and 127th, there is a basket with a couple books and instructions on how to participate in the program.
