If you have a pre-school child and you want to explore your options for area pre-schools, daycares or other child care arrangements, plan to stop by the Plainfield library from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17.

Once a year, the library hosts area representatives who will answer your questions, give you information and talk with you about your child’s early education. There will also be free speech screenings onsite for children between ages 3 to 5. This is your opportunity to talk to many different representatives all at one time to make the best childcare decision for both you and your child.

Fall 2013 participating schools and agencies include: American Butterflies Home Childcare & Preschool, Apple Tree Preschool, Avery YMCA, Bethany Lutheran School, Bonnie McBeth Learning Center, Chesterbrook Academy Naperville, Chesterbrook Academy Plainfield, Cornerstone Early learning Center, Creative World, Garden Gate Montessori School, Goddard School @ 135th St., Goodard School Shorewood, Great Adventures Plainfield Park District, Illinois Speech Specialists, Joliet Junior College, Joliet Montessori School, Kensington School of South Naperville, KinderCare Learning Center of Naperville, Lighthouse Academy Childcare/Preschool, Little Scholars Academy, Montessori of Plainfield, Peaceful Hearts Christian Preschool, St. Mary immaculate Preschool, Trinity Christian Preschool, Zion Lutheran Early childhood Learning Center. A drawing will be held the day of the fair and parents and children are welcome to sign-up for their own personal Library card while visiting.
