Sharon United Methodist Church is saying a fond farewell to their pastor, Rebecca Rutter, after three years of ministry with them.
Pastor Rebecca helped the church grow in faith, understanding of Scripture, and commitment to prayer. She was also active in the Plainfield community, serving as the president of the Plainfield Ministerial Association and volunteering at local schools and a food pantry.
Starting July 1, she will begin her next appointment as the pastor of New Hope United Methodist Church in De Pere, Wisconsin.
