Plainfield TRIAD Hosts Shred Day, Ice Cream Social

Expired/unused medications can also be dropped off.

The next meeting of the Plainfield TRIAD program is a shredding event and ice cream social, set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at the Plainfield Police Department, 14300 S. Coil Plus Drive.

The program, sponsored by Sen. Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant (D-Shorewood), is free and open to the public.

Residents can stop by the Plainfield Police Department with up to two boxes of old documents for shredding, as well as unused/expired medications for disposal.

Guests can also enjoy ice cream at the free event.
