Recycle Electronics at Conservation Plainfield Spring Expo

New Life Electronics Recycling, Inc. is sponsoring an electronics recycling drop-off as part of Conservation Plainfield’s 2014 Spring Environmental Expo, set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Plainfield Central High School Field House, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive.

Trailers will be located in the parking lot for residents to drop-off the following items:

*computers *monitors (LCD and CRT) *servers

*firewalls *switches *routers 

*server racks *laptops/tablets *cords/wire

*batteries of ALL types *keyboards *mice 

*all computer input devices *printers (laser and ink jet) *scanners 

*fax machines *projectors *speakers 

*phones *TV's *ballasts 

*Small appliances (coffee makers, toasters, microwaves) *litho plates 

*projector bulbs *aluminum cans *aluminum siding 

*rims for vehicles *catalytic converters *radiators 

*wheel weights *car batteries *anything lead 

*anything stainless steel *all metal alloys *nickel 

*metal hangers *cable, house wire, phone wire *computer cables 

*cast iron *ductile iron *appliances 

The event is also a fundraiser for Conservation Plainfield which will receive the current rate for aluminum cans and a flat rate for all other items depending on what is brought in. Conservation Plainfield would like to thank New Life Electronics Recycling, Inc. for their support, as well as those who will be dropping off items to be recycled.
