Renwick/River Road Closing Starts Tuesday

Intersection will be closed through mid-August, according to bridge project engineer.

As work progresses on the , drivers can expect a new traffic pattern at Renwick and River roads starting Tuesday.

Road reconstruction, part of the $7.4 million project, means the intersection will be closed in two phases. Starting Tuesday, the Renwick and River road intersection will be closed north to River Court, according to the village. A second stage, set to begin once the first stage is completed, will close River Road south of Renwick Road to north of Easy Street.

Craig Young of Hutchison Engineering said the closures will last until mid-August. The new bridge, replacing the century-old, one-lane structure, is scheduled for completion in November.
