The National Weather Service in Romeoville has issued a severe storm warning for areas including north central Will County until 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
At 3:45 p.m., the National Weather Service reported a severe thunderstorm was located near Romeoville and moving east at 45 mph. Quarter size hail and 60 mph wind gusts are expected to accompany the storm.
In the event of a storm, residents are urged to take shelter and move to an interior room on the lowest floor of the building for safety.
