Stars-N-Strikes Bowling Fundraiser Benefits Area Veterans

Operation Welcome You Home will host its fourth annual Stars-N-Strikes for Military Heroes "Glow N Bowl" fundraiser at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at Town & Country Lanes, 2231 W. Jefferson, Joliet.
The event offers prizes for the top three male and female "glowers," as well as the first- and last-place bowling teams. Guests can also enter to win prizes including a pair of diamond earrings and a TV.
The cost per bowler is $35 for adults, $25 for kids 12 and under with a size small adult shirt and $20 for kids age 12 and under with no glow shirt purchase. Wounded warriors bowl for free.
