State Rep. Tom Cross, whose district includes Plainfield, will hold his annual free Kids Fair 2011 on from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 4 at Oswego East High School, 1525 Harvey Road, Oswego.
“From a military humvee to a medical helicopter to a stretch limousine, we are really excited about the more than 25 vehicles that will be part of our new Touch-A-Truck activities,” Cross said. “In addition to that, we’ll have demonstrations by local dance academies, the Kendall K-9 Unit, and SWAT Team, among others.”
Children can learn about Internet and bicycle safety. The fire safety trailer will be on site and police officers will do kids fingerprinting.
