Holiday Pet Photo Shoot to Benefit Local Child

All proceeds from this event will benefit six year-old Nate Kothera, who was born with Down Syndrome and is currently undergoing chemotherapy for Leukemia.

Nate, of Schaumburg, has been accepted into 4 Paws For Ability, a non-profit that will train a canine companion especially to meet his needs.

The dog will be able to track Nate, accompany him in public places to ensure his safety, calm him by responding to his emotional needs and connect with him socially.

Nate's family is raising $13,000 of the $22,000 it takes to raise and train a service dogs. They have so far raised $6,000.

For a $25 donation, dog owners will receive digital images from the photo shoot. Multiple dogs and families can do a photo sessions.

For an additional $10 per dog, individual photos will be taken.
