Job Club Offered

The Plainfield Public Library District offers a monthly Job Club one Thursday a month.  The next meeting is October 21st, and the topic will be "Library Resources for Jobseekers" presented by Louise Svehla, reference librarian.  Navigating the challenges of a job search is much easier with the encouragement of a group.

If you're looking for work, don't go it alone.  The Job Club welcomes job seekers and career changers.  Network, share and learn from guest speakers in a friendly and helpful atmosphere.  As space is limited, registration is required and opens two weeks in advance of each meeting.  You may register online on the library website at or by phone.  This program is open to everyone, and a library card is not needed for registration.
