Artist Biography
Capturing the spirit and personality of her subjects is Connie Simons’ favorite thing to do.  Growing up, she was the ninth of sixteen children on their dairy farm in Ohio.  At Christmas time, Santa would bring each child only one gift, but lots of games and art supplies to share. Her love of drawing and painting grew from this wealth of art materials, the closeness of nature, and the many people in her extended family.
