Plainfield East High School Fall Play Performance

Plainfield East High School will present "A Christmas Story," as its third fall play.  Performances will run Thursday, November 11, through Sunday, November 14, 2010. 

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee will begin at 2:30 p.m.  All performances will be held in the PEHS auditorium, 12001 South Naperville Road, Plainfield.

The family comedy is a rendition of the classic holiday movie complete with the infamous leg lamp, Flick and the flagpole, and the Bumpus hounds.

Tickets are available in advance by e-mailing PEHS Fall Play Director Laura Shoplas at lshoplas@psd202.org.  Tickets can also be purchase at the door before each performance.  Seating is on a first come, first served basis.  Tickets cost $5 for students, children, and staff and $7 for adults and the general public.

All fifth grade students from Creekside, Elizabeth Eichelberger, Lakewood Falls and Liberty elementary schools and all eighth grade students from John F. Kennedy and Indian Trail middle schools will also attend a special in-school performance of "A Christmas Story."

"We opened this opportunity to our feeder schools since this is such a kid-friendly show, and we wanted to create an upperclassmen treat for our Orange House schools to all meet at PEHS and help welcome them to their future high school," Shoplas said.
