Plainfield South High School Fall Play

Plainfield South High School will present, "The Crucible," by Arthur Miller Friday, November 19 through Sunday, November 20, 2010.  Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee will begin at 2:30 p.m.  All performances will be held in the PSHS auditorium, 7800 West Caton Farm Road, Plainfield.

Based on the Salem witch trials, "The Crucible," focuses on a young farmer, his wife and a young servant girl who maliciously causes the wife's arrest for witchcraft.

When the farmer brings the girl to court to admit the lie, the farmer finds himself also accused of witchcraft and ultimately condemned with a host of others.
