Touring Play That Will Perform in Plainfield Holds Auditions

The Joliet Junior College Fine Arts Department Theatre will hold auditions for a summer touring theatre production of "The Loathsome Lady, An Arthurian Tale Retold." The auditions will take place at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on May 9 at 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet at the Fine Arts Theatre.

The play is a 45-minute to one-hour play about King Arthur and the Black Knight. 
 
The tour will take place from June 13-17 and will travel to libraries in Braidwood, Morris, Seneca, Manhattan, Plainfield and Shorewood.
 
Auditioners should prepare a short nursery rhyme, be prepared to read from a script and to participate in theatre games.
