The SchooljamUSA contest is a nation-wide battle of the bands sponsored by NAMM. The 117 bands in the contest each receive a score that is a combination of a music score received from a panel of music industry judges and online votes. The top 8 advance to the finals where they are guranteed to win between $1,000 and $5,000 for their schools.
