Plainfield Battle of the Bands Looking for Contenders
Musicians wanted for charity show at Nevin's Brewing in Plainfield.
Instruments for Change, a charity music event scheduled for this summer at Nevin's Brewing in Plainfield, is in need of musicians.
Last year, the event raised money for the American Heart Association and Operation Save Christmas.
This time around, funds will go to the American Cancer Society of Illinois. Organizers are looking to change things up a bit by hosting a charity battle of the bands event.
Organizer Tyler Goss said he's looking for bands to enter the competition. Musicians who want to participate should email songs to instruments4c@gmail.com.
Deadline to submit your band for consideration is June 1.
The battle of the bands is tentatively scheduled for this July at Nevin's, 13717 S. Route 59 in Plainfield.
