At the event, the school's Key Club will collect socks to be donated to the homeless.
The Plainfield High School – Central Campus “Orchesis” dance company will host the school’s second annual “Dancefest” to celebrate and showcase the many forms of dance, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 in the school auditorium, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Dr.
The show is presented in partnership with the PHSCC Key Club and will feature dancers from several Plainfield-area public and private dance troupes. Performers will include Timber Ridge Middle School and Plainfield East High School; Naperville Central High School; and the BDA Dance, Noveau Dance and Dancequest private dance companies.
Tickets are $5, and children under 4 years old are free. The Key Club is collecting new socks for local homeless people. Anyone bringing a new pair of socks will save $2 off admission.
