Plainfield Contestant Escapes Elimination on 'Biggest Loser'

Tanya Winfield went head to head against another contestant, winning another week on the show.

Plainfield's Tanya Winfield made it through another week on "The Biggest Loser," narrowly escaping elimination as she and fellow contestant Tumi fell below the dreaded "yellow line."

In the end, Winfield's fellow contestants voted to send Tumi home, deeming her a bigger threat. "It is a game, at the end of the day," contestant Jay said after the vote.

Winfield survived to compete another week. The next episode will take contestants to the Olympic training site in Park City, Utah, where they'll get to train with world-class athletes — including eight-time medalist, speed skater Apolo Ono. The episode will air at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14.

This season's "Biggest Loser" will be crowned next month in the live finale.
