Plainfield Gears Up For Concerts, Movies in the Park

The Village of Plainfield and will host the annual summer Concerts in the Park and Movies in the Park Series, starting with the first movie on June 14 and first concert on June 20.

Concerts and movies take place in the Richard A. Rock Amphitheater at Settlers' Park, 24403 W. Lockport St.

For both concerts and movies in the park, terraced seating is available, although attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Concessions are available at Settler's Park. If inclement weather is forecast, events will be cancelled. In case of a cancellation, call the Settlers' Park event hotline at 815-609-6124 or visit www.plainfield-il.org for updates after 4 p.m.
