Plainfield Gym Featured on MTV's 'I Used to Be Fat'
An episode featuring Plainfield staff debuts Thursday, July 18.
Plainfield's HomeTown Fitness will be featured on the MTV reality show "I Used to Be Fat," with an episode debuting at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18.
According to the gym, MTV spent 16 weeks working with HomeTown staff and has completed filming and production at the club, 16108 S. Route 59.
"MTV selected HTF based on our facility, staff and successful personal training program," gym staff said in a press release.
The show, which airs at 11 a.m. Monday through Friday, follows teens from their last weeks of high school through the first days of college as they attempt to lose large amounts of weight.
