‘Who’s Got Talent’ Winners Will Perform at River Days

Want your star to shine at this year’s River Days?

Plainfield music venue will host auditions for a “Who’s Got Talent” competition this month, and the winners in four categories — singers/songwriters, dancers/dance teams, entertainers and performers — will win a spot on the main stage at the Sept. 14 to 16 event.

Whatever your talent, Live 59 owner Ted Ergo said you’ll get to show it off during auditions.

“Everybody who signs up to compete will get to showcase their talent,” he said. The winners in each category will get to perform between 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday. Sept. 15, at River Days, held in Riverfront Park.

The deadline to sign up for the competition is Aug. 10. Registration fees are $10 per contestant or $20 per group.

Contestants are encouraged to sign up by using the online registration form, available here, on the River Days website. After signing up, contestants will be contacted with additional information, including the time and date of their auditions.

Auditions will last several rounds, depending on the number of contestants, Ergo said.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” he said, adding talent of all kinds is welcome.

“We’re looking for variety,” Ergo noted.
