It's customer appreciation day, where the company annually rewards loyal patrons with $1 sandwiches.

Jimmy John’s is rolling out a one-day dollar lunch menu today.

In a customer appreciation promotion, Jimmy John’s at 12632 S. Route 59 and other Chicago-area locations are serving up its 8-inch gourmet subs sandwiches for an unbelievable $1 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. today.

The subs you can get for a buck are the applewood smoked ham, shaved roast beef, tuna salad, sliced turkey, Italian and veggie subs. The offer does not apply for deliveries.

You can't really beat lunch for a buck, so you might want to see about taking a longer lunch break.

Jimmy John’s managers “don't really recommend stopping by at the height of the lunch hour because every location is going to be packed," they said in a press release. "The lines last year were incredible and we expect nothing different this year."
