In honor of Small Business Saturday and Thanksgiving, Patch asks: Which local shops and services are you most thankful for?

Whether's it's a hot cup of coffee first thing in the morning, a fantastic massage or a dry cleaner who always manages to resurrect your favorite suit, there are products and services in almost everyone's routine that make life in Plainfield a little better.

Peter Rubi's is the best! Consistently fresh, best quality produce any time you stop in. The mango salsa and guacamole are superb. This old-time neighborhood style shop is exactly the type of establishment Plainfield so desperately needs. It brings me downtown a lot more now.
