Plainfield CiCi's to Reopen Tuesday, Company Says

First 100 guests in line will get a gift card.

The rescheduled reopening of the Plainfield CiCi's Pizza restaurant is set for Tuesday, July 1, a rep for the buffet pizza chain said Monday.

The eatery is now under new ownership and management and features a new dining area and revamped salad bar.

CiCi's, 11830 S. Route 59, will open at 11 a.m., and according to a press release from the company, the first 100 guests in line will receive a gift card valid for their choice of one free adult buffet or a one-topping to-go pizza each month for one year. In addition, all guests who visit on the grand reopening day can enter to win a weekly raffle for a free adult buffet, valued at $5.79.

The 4,200-square-foot restaurant is run by General Manager Tim Vandenbark, who is a 12-year resident of Plainfield and has been part of the CiCi’s family for three years, the company said.

Vandenbark said in a statement from the company, "Our loyal fans have been patiently waiting for us to reopen our doors and we are eager to share with them our modernized restaurant’s sleek, new dining room and expanded salad bar."
