Plainfield Chipotle, Goodwill Store Now Open

A new Plainfield eatery is now open.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, located in the Kensington South shopping center at 127th Street and Route 59, recently opened for business.

Next door, a Which Wich Superior Sandwiches franchise is also getting ready to open. Village Planner Michael Garrigan said the business could open this month. Late Monday afternoon, a "coming soon" sign remained in the window of the business, which held a hiring open house on June 4.

Chipotle is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week, according to its website.

A Goodwill resale shop has also opened in the former OfficeMax location at 13665 S. Route 59. The store and donation center is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
