Two Men and a Truck Partner with Local Businesses to Recognize Moms

Plainfield has two locations for residents to drop off small gifts.

Two Men and a Truck locations across the country are collecting donations for local women’s and family shelters for delivery on Mother’s Day and it’s the first year for the program in Plainfield. The program is called Movers for Moms and the purpose is to recognize all moms on Mother’s Day, including those living in shelters, by arranging delivery of small gifts for women who are victims of domestic abuse or homelessness.

  • The C.W. Avery YMCA updated its brochure to reflect that the Speed, Strength and Agility for 9-14-year-olds will be on MONDAYS from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., not Tuesdays from 6:15 p.m.  to 7 p.m. Marenda Eison is the instructor.
