Vendor Market Set for Plainfield Library Grounds Saturday

Market will include pony rides and a petting zoo this year.

The Friends of the Plainfield Public Library are hosting a community-wide Garage Sale and Vendor Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., May 18. The event will be held on the Plainfield Public Library grounds. In addition to the sale and market, Country Yard Critters of Naperville will be on hand with pony rides and a variety of small farm animals for the kids to enjoy.

Just around the block, Boy Scout Troop 13 will be hosting a Craft & Vendor Show at the former Plainfield fire station, 15025 S. Des Plaines St. and the United Methodist Church Moms Encouraging Moms Group will be holding their annual Children’s Toy/Clothing Resale at the church, 15114 S. Illinois St. Over 60 plus vendor and garage sale participants will be on hand. Garage sale participants will also be located throughout the library neighborhood area with antique furniture, collectibles, new and used clothing and many more items.
