C.W. Avery Family YMCA Unveils New Wellness Center

To better accommodate the fitness needs of its growing membership base, the C.W. Avery Family YMCA renovated its Wellness Center earlier this fall. YMCA members joined staff, board members and volunteers to celebrate its opening at an official ribbon cutting last week at its 15120 Wallin Drive location.

In addition to increasing the square-footage of the Wellness Center, the Y also increased the number of cardio and strength machines available to its members. These new pieces of equipment are providing health seekers with limitless opportunities to train smarter and more effectively. The Wellness Center also features new flooring, energizing paint colors, a water bottle filling station and an expanded seating area.
