Epley new Commercial Banking VP

Robert Epley recently joined Heartland Bank and Trust Company as Vice President Commercial Banking.

Epley brings 23 years of experience in the financial industry, starting his career in retail management moving to Small Business Management then to Consumer and Commercial Lending. He will be located at the bank’s Plainfield location at 14429 S Wallin Drive.

Rob has a background in Finance and attended the College of Dupage and Northern Illinois University. Epley is affiliated with Congressman Randy Hultgren’s Small Business Advisory Council as well as House Republican Leader Tom Cross’s Ovation to Business Committee Member.  He is a board member for Greater Joliet Area YMCA Metro Board, CW Avery YMCA Advisory board, YMCA Giving Gala Co-Chair, Plainfield Riverfront Foundation President, Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce Former Chairman, and Plainfield Exchange Club Former President.  Rob has been a volunteer YMCA Basketball coach for the last 10 years, was Joliet Area YMCA Volunteer of the Year in 2011, School District #202 Richard Ira Jones Community Person of the Year in 2010.

He and his wife, Gail, live in Plainfield with their four children, Jacob, Teagan, Brock and Cole.

“I look forward to continuing the commercial relationships I have established in the Plainfield community as a long time resident and banker.  I hope to bring benefit to the area with my experience in lending,” said Epley.
