Plainfield’s web is growing.  Not the dot com web, not a social media web, but a web of a different kind.  It’s a web of the money-saving kind, the kind of web that could save you thousands on your next car purchase.  If you haven’t guessed it yet, it’s the Webb family of automotive dealerships.

It all started with Mike Webb and Webb Ford in Highland, Indiana almost 50 years ago, and has grown to include Webb Chevy in Oak Lawn, IL and Webb Hyundai in Highland, IN.  His family is hands-on in the business as well, including partners Kelly Webb, Jackie Webb and Brian Webb.

The Webb family would like to announce their newest addition in Plainfield – the all-new Webb Chevrolet Plainfield, just off 55 on Route 30, born on September 16!  They purchased the Bill Jacobs Chevrolet of Plainfield dealership and have added it to their community dealerships.  Kelly Webb, the Dealer Prinicipal, said: “It’s a growing market out here” and they are ready to meet the need.  Kelly’s partner and Internet Director, Jackie Webb, said that there’s always someone from the Webb family at the dealership.  They make themselves readily available to help out in any way they can.

Brad Wise, general manager, is no stranger to Plainfield.  He is a Plainfield resident and has been helping car buyers in the Joliet/Plainfield area for over 25 years with Bill Jacobs (former owners of the new Webb Chevrolet Plainfield).  Speaking with Brad at the grand opening, he joked that he is already at home at the new dealership because he is already shaking hands with customers he has helped for years.

Brad also knows Plainfield, and they know him.  They also know Rick Peterson, used car manager, another former employee of Bill Jacobs.  Brad said with a smile, “If you walk in here, there’s a good chance one of us knows you.  We look forward to being a part of the fabric of the Plainfield community.”
