Bucs Look To Continue To Win Against Chargers.

Both these teams are poised to make runs at the playoffs. San Diego is an up and down team who can really be good with the right head coach and Tampa Bay would surpass their win total from a year ago.

Intriguing Game- Week 10

Chargers (4-4) at Buccaneers (4-4)

Chargers: The San Diego Chargers are the AFC’s version of the Dallas Cowboys.
They’re not a well-coached football team and you never know what to expect from
these guys. They always seem to start off on the right track then struggle at a
certain point in the season and they have the potential to be a very good team
if you ask me. Norv Turner simply isn’t getting the job done. He fits the role
of a coordinator, not a head coach. Through 8 games, the Chargers could easily
be at 5-3 or 6-2. If they don’t make the playoffs this season, this will be the
third straight year they don’t make it. This Sunday, they fly across the country
to face a much improved Buccaneers team.

Buccaneers: You better have game if you have two first names. Doug Martin has lived up to my government name rule. He’s had two big back to back games. He had 214 total yards against Minnesota and he rushed for a career high 251 yards rushing in Oakland last Sunday. The sky’s the limit for this guy and he’s been considered the second version of Ray Rice and he runs downhill like Matt Forte. This was a team that lost ten games in a row last season to finish 4-12. They are a much improved team under Greg Schiano and they’ve shown that improvement with two big road wins in the last two weeks. With a win Sunday, we could see this team making a push for the playoffs. Can the Buccaneers surpass their win total from last season?

Prediction: I just can’t trust the Chargers at all and west coast teams never do well when having to fly across the country and play in the Eastern tTime zone. The Buccaneers are a much disciplined football team and Josh  Freeman has played well this year. Vincent Jackson faces his former team for the  first time since becoming a free agent. I like the Bucs in this one. Bucs 28 Chargers 17
