Football Wrap Up: Dec. 10

Here's a wrap up of the week that was.

1. Cowboys win emotional game- The Cowboys came into Cincinnatti
with very heavy hearts. Saturday, Jerry Brown was tragically killed in a car
accident and teammate and close friend Josh Brent was charged with intoxication
manslaughter. A football game was still played and Dallas came back from a 9
point deficit to win 20-19 on a game winning field goal. A very emotional win
for a football team fighting to make the playoffs.

2. Panthers upset Falcons- I stated that this was a trap
game for the Atlanta Falcons. The Panthers could have beat them the first time
they played. Sunday was a different story. The Panthers started early and never
looked back handing Atlanta it’s second loss of the season and getting a big
win.

3. Ravens drop second straight game- It was the battle of
the beltway. Baltimore came out firing on all cylinders in the first half and
this was one of those football games where you can say it was truly a tale of
two halves. RGIII would end up leaving the game with a knee injury and fellow
rookie QB Kirk Cousins came in and threw two TD passes to tie the game up to
send it into overtime. The Redskins would win this game to keep their winning
streak alive to four games.

4. Giants have field day on Saints- The Giants were looking
to bounce back after a bad loss last week to the Redskins. The Saints were
looking to snap a two game losing streak. This one would be decided by offense
and the Giants didn’t disappoint. They scored 52 points. Rookie David Wilson had
a career day with 327 all purpose yards and the Giants now have a one game lead
in the NFC East.

5. Chargers upset Steelers; bears drop second straight game-
Big Ben returned for the Steelers and many of us thought the Steelers would play
better with him, well we were wrong. The Chargers have had such a disappointing
year and what a win in a city where you’ve never recorded a victory; the Bears
are struggling and Adrian ran all over them. This is the Bears
