NFC East Rivals Meet Up At JerryWorld

This is my thoughts on the Giants/Cowboys game. The Giants are streaking and the Cowboys are struggling.

NFC Game Of The Week

Giants (5-2) at Cowboys (3-3)

Giants: They’re clicking and this is what we expected from them. Eli is a top three QB in the game today and he’s one of the very best in clutch situations. That’s when he’s at his best. Eli and Victor Cruz have really established themselves as a premiere QB/WR tandem in the game right now. Eli has such faith in Victor to make a big play when it’s needed. One big question that surronded the champs was their running game but I think Ahmad Bradshaw has answered those questions. They’re off to their second consecutive 5-2 start and have been one of the hottest teams in football the past few weeks. They look to get their second straight division win to improve to 6-2 and to get to that mark, they have to face the team that handed them their first loss of the season, can Eli lead his troops to victory again?

Cowboys: That week one victory is probably the only brightspot for the Cowboys this season. That was the only game that they looked complete in from an offensive and defensive perspective. Ever since then, it’s all gone downhill from there. They’re way too conservative in crucial situations, Jason Garrett isn’t a good head coach, he’s more of the coordinator type of guy, Tony is an up and down guy, this team as a whole is extremely unpredictable and you never know what to expect from these guys. They’re capable of being a legit contender but the only thing stopping America’s team from succeeding is them. I think everyone can agree that the Cowboys have not looked the same since that week one win in East Rutherfor. Both these teams are headed in total opposite directions and for the Cowboys to get on track, they’ll need this game. Will Dallas get it together.

Prediction: The Giants know they looked awful in week one. They were flat all around and Dallas was just flat out the better team. Ever since then, they’ve really gotten it together. Dallas on the other hand has been, well Dallas to put it in a nice way. You have to love these rivalry games and this one won’t disappoint at all. I like the Giants to get the win and remain in first place atop the NFC East. Giants 35 Cowboys 24
