Brady And Ryan Battle Sunday Night.

Intriguing Game-Week 4

Patriots (3-0) at Falcons (1-2)

Patriots- The Patriots are 3-0 for the first time since 2007, a quiet 3-0 at that. Let’s be real, they should be 1-2 or 2-1. They struggled in Buffalo and struggled against the Jets in week two. These Patriots are different from the other Patriot teams we’ve seen in a few years. This is one of the more prolific offenses in the game usually. That’s not the case this year. Brady doesn’t have five key receivers from last season. Deion Branch was released, Wes Welker left for Denver, Gronk is hurt, Brandon Lloyd was released and Aaron Hernandez was released after being arrested. Last week against Tampa, I noticed Brady getting comfortable with these young receivers as the game went along. They may not be lighting up the scoreboard like usual but they are winning games nonetheless and they’ll look to continue that trend on Sunday night in Atlanta.

Falcons- There are a lot of questions surrounding this team right now. I don’t think any of us expected the Falcons to be 1-2 right now. Steven Jackson is out for a few weeks with a thigh injury and he’s been injury plagued for most of his career. The Falcons offense will put up their points and score. My big concern with them is their defense. The pass rush they’ve lacked the last few seasons has shown up some but they can’t seem to stop anybody in the fourth quarter and that goes back to the playoffs last season when they played the Seahawks and 49ers. This defense will have to be on it on Sunday with a future hall of famer coming to town on Sunday night.

Prediction: The more Brady and these young receivers are on the same page, this offense will get back to what were accustomed to seeing. We also have to give credit to the Patriots defense who has really carried this team on their shoulders this season. The Falcons are a lot better than what their record shows and they have an excellent home-field advantage. The Falcons must make a stop of Brady in order to win this game. I like the Patriots to keep rolling. Patriots 34 Falcons 28
