10. Patrick Willis- I said when Ray Lewis retired, Patrick Willis would be considered the best overall linebacker in the NFL. He starts off my 10 best players list entering the 2013 season. Willis is the best in the league at swarming the ball. He uses his speed to his advantage and knows where to be at the right time. He’s a leader on the 49ers’ defense, which has been considered a top-two unit over the last two seasons. Willis is also a guy that can rush the quarterback, pursue the ball carrier and stop the run. Nobody plays the position better than Willis does. He has a great feel for the position and a great instinct for the game. He’ll be regarded as the best linebacker for years to come.
