This Week In Football (9/12-15)

1. Peyton and Eli meet in East Rutherford- What a week these two are coming off of. Peyton lit up the Ravens defense and Eli threw four touchdown passes along with three interceptions. The Broncos have won twelve straight regular season games and will travel to the stadium where they hope to play in February. The Giants looked terrible on Sunday night in Dallas and will look to bounce back as the Manning Bowl take 3 will take place.

2. 49ers and Seahawks renew rivalry on Sunday night- When these two teams played last year, the first match-up in San Francisco was the most physical game I saw all year. Both these teams are mirror images of each other. They both like to run the football, they both have mobile quarterbacks and they both rely on their defenses to make plays for them. This is definitely a game that will grab the attention of many this upcoming Sunday night.

3. Texas A&M welcomes Alabama to College Station- The last time these two met up, Johnny Manziel made his case for the Heisman trophy and led the Aggies to a upset win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa. When the schedules came out, this was the game everybody had circled on their calendars. Alabama will look to get into a rhythm after their off week and continue to show people why they are still the team to beat in the SEC.

4. Jets and Patriots kick off Thursday Night Football- It’s safe to say both these teams got lucky in week one. The Patriots offense will be less explosive with key guys gone and inexperienced receivers in the line up.The Jets were a few seconds away from losing until a costly penalty on behalf of the Buccaneers put them in field goal range to win the football game.

5. RGIII and Aaron Rodgers square off at Lambeau- This should be a fun one to watch. A future star in Robert Griffin III will lead his Redskins against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Both teams were division winners in 2012 and are both off to 0-1 starts in the young season.
