Buckle Up for Love ... or Face the Consequences

Police campaign cracking down on seat belt violations continues through Valentine's Day.

Nothing says I love you more than, "Click it, or I'm going to get a ticket."

From now through Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, are using a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation to crack down on people not using their seat belts.

Police will be conducting enforcement during the day as well as at night, and via police vehicles as well as on foot, traffic Sgt. Eric Munson said in a release on the "Buckle Up for Love" campaign. Their "zero tolerance" policy means that if you get stopped, you will get ticketed.
