Get Rid of Old Meds at Drop-Off Event Saturday
All forms of prescription and over-the-counter drugs will be accepted, with the exception of needles.
The is holding a prescription and over-the-counter medication disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Drop off all types of medications at the Plainfield Law Enforcement Center, 14300 S. Coil Plus Drive. Needles will not be accepted.
Unused drug pose a risk to children who might accidentally consume them or teens or adults who might be tempted to take them for nonmedicinal purposes. Also, throwing them in the trash or flushing tehm down the toilet could result in them ending up in the water supply.
