Plainfield Haunts: And the Winners Are ...

The Plainfield Park District announced the winners of its Spook-tacular Haunted Houses decorating contest.

From scary scenery to family friendly haunts, Plainfield residents went all out this year.

On Thursday, judges had their hands full choosing winners in the Plainfield Park District's 'Spook-tacular' Haunted Houses decorating contest.

In the end, four houses won nods for their creepy outdoor decor. The winners are:

  • Scariest Haunted House Winner: 25013 Brigade Ln. (Liberty Grove)
  • Scariest Haunted House Honorable Mention – 15416 S. Creekside Dr. (Indian Oaks)
  • Family Friendly Haunted House Winner – 16310 Riverwood Dr. (Hidden River)
  • Family Friendly Haunted House Honorable Mention - 4503 Ole Farm Rd. (Riverside)
